Expand your vocab and donate rice to the hungry. No, really.

A casual games site I frequent, Jay is Games, recently posted a “game” that allowed you to donate rice to hungry people through the United Nations and Poverty.com.

The game is called Free Rice, and all you have to do is select the correct synonym for the given word from a list of four options. For each answer you get right, ten grains of rice are donated. The interface keeps a tally of what you’ve donated as you go along.

Easy, diverting, and good.

As of today, 293,172,530 grains of rice have been donated.

Job interview tomorrow.

For an actual solo librarian position.

The DRUNKS in ANN ARBOR walk OFTEN down my STREET.

At about 2am this morning there was a girl walking outside my apartment looking for her car. I know that is what she was doing because she announced it, quite emphatically.

“I need to get my car. I NEED to get my car. I NEED to get my CAR. WHERE is my car. Please TELL me. Where is my CAR.”

No one responded.

A) Elocution lesson? Or B) just drunk? You decide.

What.

What.

WHAT?
